Pump station requirements

If you are considering joining Sun Propane as a commercial customer, a one million dollar liability insurance policy must be obtained with Sun Propane listed as "additionally insured". If you currently have an insurance policy that is at or exceeds one million dollars, you do not need to purchase any additional coverage. You would simply need to add Sun Propane to your policy.

A commercial tank needs to be 25 feet away from all roadways and buildings. All necessary equipment is included for the pump station, as well as safety training for your employees. Our commercial customers receive a discounted rate pending approval by management.

Cylinder refill programs

Our cylinder exchange program is primarily designed for companies who use propane fueled forklifts. One of our employees will drive to your location, load the empty propane cylinders, return to our office to fill your cylinders, and return the filled cylinders to you on the same business day.

We will gladly fill 20, 30, 40, and 100 pound propane cylinders for non commercial customers as well. Your propane cylinders need to be equipped with an OPD valve. If they do not have this valve we have them on site and can replace them for you for an additional charge.

Job sites
